REALTORS® Relief Foundation – Disaster Relief Application
Financial relief is available for homeowners and renters affected by the historic flooding in San Diego County this year. Thanks to the REALTORS® Relief Foundation, eligible residents can apply for assistance with their monthly housing payments up to $2,900.
Who qualifies:
U.S. citizens or legally admitted immigrants residing in San Diego County who are seeking:
- Mortgage relief for their primary residence due to flood damage;
- Rental assistance for residents with a new lease due to relocation; or
- Hotel reimbursement due to displacement
Deadline:
All applications must be submitted no later than May 31, 2024. (Review times may vary; please allow up to 5 weeks to process)
Qualifying expenses:
Funds are available for housing payment relief only and does not cover household items, furniture, appliances, vehicles or other personal
possessions.
Documentation
- Photo ID (driver's license, State ID Card, or Passport)
- Copy of mortgage statement (for homeowners) or rent statement, lease agreement, or hotel receipt (for renters).
- Proof of damage to primary residence with at least one of the following: photos, insurance estimate, written claims, settlement
proceeds or claim status reports, or repair estimates from contractors.
