Dear Member,

Today Governor Newsom spoke about updated changes to the Stay at Home order and we wanted to ensure that you had the latest updates regarding REALTORS® and essential workers.  Our business continues to be essential and we all must remain focused on a safe transaction environment for each other and our clients.  With that, the following are the items specially relating to our business:

  • Workers responsible for the leasing of residential and commercial properties to provide individuals and families with ready access to available housing.
  • Residential and commercial real estate workers, limited to scheduled property viewings to a potential buying party. This does not extend to open-house viewings, nor viewings with more than one buying party at a time.
  • Workers responsible for handling property management, maintenance, and related service calls who can coordinate the response to emergency “at-home” situations requiring immediate attention, as well as facilitate the reception of deliveries, mail, and other necessary services.

Simply, we encourage you to continue to run your business and support your clients in the safest manner possible, while following the social distancing and safety guidelines put in place.  If you would like to read the entire document, you can do so here. You will find the information pertaining to our industry in Section 13.

Real estate in San Diego continues to be active, with new listings increasing and transactions taking place.  We will continue to provide updates that pertain you and your business and deliver programs and products to help you do so.
