ARE YOU in Compliance?

REALTORS® are now required to complete Code of Ethics training of no less than 2 hours, 30 minutes of instructional time within two - year cycles. A new two-year cycle began January 1, 2017, and the deadline or end of this cycle is December 31, 2018. So if you haven’t taken 2.5 hours of required training since January 1, 2017, you are required to complete the ethics training by December 31, 2018. Failure to satisfy these requirements will result in membership suspension from SDAR, C.A.R., and NAR. You are responsible for providing proof of course completion. Click the link below to see if you are in compliance.

Where can i take my code of ethics?

There are multiple ways to complete your Code of Ethics training – online with NAR, SDAR Live Classes, or through one of our educational partners.

NAR Online Class

There is no charge to take NAR's Code of Ethics Course. The course normally takes 2.5 hours to complete. Please note that this course does not count toward CE credits.
