On December 7,  Congress passed a short-term Continuing Resolution (CR) to keep the federal government operational through December 22, 2017.  The CR includes an extension of the EB-5 program.  Congress will use the two-week window to address a longer term CR, possibly through January 2018.  Any longer term reforms will be taken up in 2018.
