Considering the abundance of marketing strategies available, REALTORS® need to be aware of the legal and ethical restrictions they face regarding advertising. REALTORS should also make sure that any marketing professional they hire knows the nuances of these specific rules very well.
Beginning January 1, 2018, a new set of advertising standards will go into effect. The purpose of these new regulations is to create uniform standards for advertising that can be applied across a variety of media and types.
