The Urban Land Institute and Probien Bienes Exclusivos present the 2nd Annual Cali-Baja Real Estate Symposium on Nov. 30 at the Real Inn in Tijuana. The day-long symposium will focus on issues such as urban infill development, regional economic trends, housing, mobility, density, and infrastructure. Panelists represent organizations on both sides of the border. The region is going through an urban renaissance that is redefining the local economies, attracting innovation and investment, invigorating parks and open space, and creating vibrant neighborhoods. it is the world’s busiest border crossing and a shared economy of more than $200 million. Tijuana and San Diego are working together to address issues of housing affordability, cross-border manufacturing, and the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions.
